Room was located on the 16th floor. Incredibly spacious and clean. There was a full corner couch, floor to ceiling windows with a view of uptown Houston. Secure elevators that required key cards and quick service. Great location in the mall, with easy parking options.

Nit picking but the lighting like most hotels can be dim. In order for the room to be fully illuminated required switching on all the lights such as the hallway, bed side lamps, desk lamps, standing lamps, which also made turning in for the night more of a chore. This is somewhat consistent with most hotels.

Good breakfast. Good happy hour. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Extra blanket. All doors are very good, keep the room pretty quiet.

Parking cost is a lot. We don’t expect to have to pay to park. It would be nice for hotel to offer a couple bottles of drinking water in the room. Sleep sofa not as comfortable as we expected.

Beware! I had 2 beers at the pool bar which I paid onsite directly. The next day, after our checkout, the hotel charged my credit card more than 120 USD for food and drinks we never ordered and consumed and send me a bill for that. I tried to call several times but the automatic hotel hotline referred me to an email address only to raise my concerns. I sent several emails and nobody ever got back to me so I had to call my credit card company to reverse those charges. Super unprofessional !

Love the fact that each room has a kitchen. More like little apartments. Very convenient for families.

The only thing I did not like was that if you don't know where this hotel is, you probably will have a hard time finding it. The sign is so small and blends in with the stone behind it. Also, Google maps will direct you to another lot right next door to the hotel.

Not your control, but a young couple had an argument on the front porch outside our room, also we could smell pot, then they set off the fire alarm at midnight. All these things beyond your control. I just wish I could've found the manager to get try and calm them down. We don't have cell phones. Oh well.

There was no hot water. I reported the issue but since I checked in late at night, there was no maintenance to fix the issue. Also, there was no vacancy in the other rooms to move me to. The digital display for the heater was so broken that I didn't know what temperature I was setting it to. I had to keep guessing and adjusting whenever it got too hot/cold. There was a metallic clanging sound all night. I asked someone else outside the building what the racket is and he said he had no clue but that it's been going off all night. It was at random intervals and wasn't loud enough to wake anyone but was still a nuisance and made it extremely difficult to fall asleep. I called the front desk about the sound and they said it was their fire alarm and that the fire department was on the way to fix it. I don't know why the fire department would be the one to fix your faulty fire alarm but whoever was supposed to fix it never did because the sound was still present in the morning. I asked if I could get a refund or partial refund for all of these issues and they took my information and said they would reach out to me but they basically told me that there's little hope for a refund because I used a 3rd party to book the room. I went into the office and talked to a manger the next morning and she said she was actually a supervisor and not a manager and she took my info and said someone would reach out to me about discussing a refund. I never got contacted. I plan to reach out again but it's been made clear that getting any sort of refund is going to be like pulling teeth. It's better to just avoid this dump.
