      The room, and especially the bed, was quite comfortable; and a very friendly cat visited us in our room. Having a comfortable sofa was a major plus. The ‘settlement’ is quite charming, with a bit of a mining camp feel. And most other guests were friendly.

      Location and price is good. Rooms are a nice size.

      Rude staff. Especially by pool area. Broken and old furniture in rooms. Bathrooms and furniture in rooms need to be updated. Need more lighting in the bedrooms. Old carpeting. Not enough lounge chairs for people. Half the chairs are broken. And should be removed and new ones put instead. The umbrellas are old and broken. A lot of people complained about all this to the manager. But dont think anything is being done. Not enough pool towels too. They take the lounge chairs away at the beach at 5pm. Maid service that you pay over 100$ for an hour isn't great. Kitchen was left dirty. Overall this place needs to be updated from rooms to the pool area. Besides location and price. Everything else isn't great.

      The staff was incredibly rude and obnoxious especially the older man at the desk, he didn’t know how to do his job and took about 45 minutes to get me checked in. And on top of paying for my room I needed to fork out an extra $100 which wasn’t listed on the website when I booked the room
