The art gallery portion of the title by the way is about fine sculpted marble replicas of Ancient Greek statuary, athletes, gods and goddesses and such, artfully arranged all over the space. The innkeeper’s father is a famous artist in Turkey.”
It is a wonderful property - very safe, very new and very clean. When traveling we typically don’t hang out or spend much time at the property we’re staying in. However it was such a relaxing environment, felt like home, and was close to all the main attractions. It made it easy to swing by and cool off/relax before heading out to the next activity.
Negative section of review
There were only two things that could have gone better and would have made our stay a 10/10.
The towels provided were wet and we had to put them to wash/dry before we could finally take a shower after a long day of travel/activities. This was highly inconvenient as it was very late in the evening and kept us up longer.
We stayed for a total of 3 nights 4 days and we were only provided with 1 roll of toilet paper. A disclaimer so we could have brought more in advance or the property providing more toilet paper would have been more convenient. We had to again go out of our way to hunt for more.
We’ll definitely stay at this property again but will come prepared next time.
For the price, the Inn provided everything one could hope for - a reasonably nice, clean room with a large bed, and all the "essential" amenities - fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The location is good for exploring Chincoteague and Assateague. The night was quiet.

Wasn't what I expected. The floor in our room was not vacuumed, the same piece of paper that was on the floor when we checked, was still there when we checked out plus there was a gap between the door and the floor. There was a lot of noise (banging) coming from the room next door, My husband stated it was the guest and the hotel staff trying to get in the room because the guest had locked themselves out. That was an inconvenience to me because I was trying to sleep. No variety of hot breakfast such no grits and the same type of oatmeal.

The moment you enter the hallways to the rooms you are greeted by awful smells- couldn’t tell if it was pet smells, old tobacco, or just a wet rug. The rug in my room was badly stained. The bathroom was grimy and had a leaky faucet. The lamps, doors, and walls had stains that had clearly been there for years. Also there was a dead roach sitting outside of my mother’s room door for 3 days no one bothered to clean up. The windows in the lobby had dead flies laying on the panel. Although I would see a cleaning crew at work, they only cleaned obvious messes and left much detail untouched which made the hotel unsanitary. There was not even an air freshener plugged in to disguise the vile smells in the hallways and rooms. The hotel accepts pets but does not seem equipped to deeply clean the facilities. Room service told me that they need to bring their own bottle of air freshener because the management does not provide it.
